Re: Covid-19: Supporting each other through times of change
Hi @Daisydreamer I Am hoping the restrictions will be lifted for the 5km radius so I can see my family. Never knew there was any problems with their marriage they certainly kept up a good front. Been together 20 years I think now. They have three young children. Didn't want to tell us because of my ' head problems' mental ill health sucks! It is worse for me knowing they kept it a secret than to have told me. I don't need protecting I need to know. 😞
Hope you are not in lockdown too Daisydreamer🌸

Re: Covid-19: Supporting each other through times of change
I don't care about the lockdowns anymore unless schools are closed... Then I have to be home school teacher to my child and continue to work... First I lived it then my child got bored and wouldn't study so I gave up trying... Yelling was not worth it . I am used to being at home. I hate leaving home now... Not like I'm missing out on anything... My child is missing out on swim classes and the tennis he started. But I am not missing anything...i think young people are impacted more... Or those with gambling addictions who can't go to casinos etc...

Re: Covid-19: Supporting each other through times of change
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to pop in to see how you are all going?
There has been even more change announced this week and I am mindful that the daily changes and announcements can be hard hear and adapt to.
- How are you coping with change at the moment?
- What are some of the things you are doing to maintain your wellbeing?
An example for me is every day I am taking at least 30 minutes by myself for me-time, whether that is watching a movie, doing some craft, or going for a short walk. I've also set myself a cut off time in the evening where I don't read news articles and disconnect from the media.
Looking forward to hearing from you all

Re: Covid-19: Supporting each other through times of change
The last 24hours have been extremely difficult in our household with people having to isolate and get tested. I can't go in to it much as it could be identifying.
I don't think I am coping with the change too well, it has taken me into a downward spiral at the moment.
I have been trying to up my self care activities to look after myself. It is helping a little. Just takes so much out of you for such little improvement.
I try only look at the news once or twice a day and stay clear of it besides that. Makes it hard when I am getting emails but can't help that.

Re: Covid-19: Supporting each other through times of change
My dads 12 month anniversary since he died has arrived and now we ate in lock down again. 5 km limit... So now we can't go to his grave... Might take it online... But it's not the same... There are obligations which can't be met... I feel sad and drained.. I did prayers at home... Dad doesn't deserve this. No one does but this is life now.. I pray covid disappears from the world... Right now.. Stay safe.
