Re: Coming to terms with reality
Another quick reply @eudemonism @Adek
I went for an hour walk today which I loved
witnessed three horses galloping together in a field...owner looking on...apparently most of horses and there are many there are rescue animals
I have been comparing the scenery in my mind to where I live and the English and welsh different places where I walked...interesting...I was then reminded of all the different places I have walked in my life...so contemplating...also distracting...focussing to try to allay this anxiety that just won't go away
.I had apptment on Monday with heart specialist...ended up going back to hospital emergency for husband's heart....7 hours later long drive home
cats not impressed
Apart from walking I love gardening...listening to music...reading..love the ocean and the beach when not many people there...don't get there often enough
good to hear that you are loving your dog ...he is going to be such a good companion
do you have any pets @Adek?
well night night again for me
take care my friends...will try to respond sooner

Re: Coming to terms with reality
Hi @eudemonism
Thank you for the insights you have given me. I am touched by the reply. Sorry, I cannot say it sound typical to me. I can feel a lot of sadness, frustration and at the same time aware of the strength you have.
I am saddened to read about your situation and have respect for you for taking time to explain to me. Thank you.
I also note that you are aware of your challenges amd the way you have expressed yourself shows that you have control of your thoughts. With the failed support you needed I see there is a lack of confidence in the system. Thank you for sharing.
I have been away form this forum to complete my assessment tasks and finally completed. Thank God. I have to sort my place before I leave to visit my parents. I may not have frequent access to internet when I visit my parents.
I wish you all the best and pray that you come closer to being the good person you want to be. Take care
Will drop by before I leave to my parents 🙂

Re: Coming to terms with reality
Hi @eudemonism
This is an uplifting post 🙂
I miss camping. I am up for it anytime... so can't be just a man thing 🙂 I have a wish list. A road trip to Uluru is one of them. I love travelling and make an effort to go somewhere I haven't been before.
Good morning @Adek how are you? Good morning @Former-Member @Appleblossom Wish you all the best
Again running much past bed time - Coles ran out of flourless orange cake. Hoping to get it for a colleague searched the internet without much luck. Too late to do anything now.
Wish you all a great Thursday 🙂 another day to make difference.
Smile back to me 🙂

Re: Coming to terms with reality
It is basically like. Inflicting control upon one or some and expecting them to do the same. So they can reap the rewards in return also. And providing them with a prize which is disguised. When really they only worried about themselves and what they need and want. Everything to do with other human beings on a social level. Involves a sadistic hyracy. And it hurts to think. That some, use it too their advantage. And, appear to do very well for themselves in life. This is where the need for a diety steps in and intervenes. Is it all making sense?

Re: Coming to terms with reality
Hi @eudemonism @A2Z @Adek @Former-Member @Former-Member
It was sunny today but I was also working indoors a lot, which is good as my skin is much paler than it used to be.
I like camping too, so yeah not just a guy thing.
Chores are shifting for me. There are some non-negotiable tasks, but my ex husband played mind games around chores, the benefits of routine and regular activities and in the end he won, and I just do what I can according to a reasonable hierarchy of needs.
One reason I loved camping as it makes the need and genesis of chores transparent for kids.
I talked to a family from Singapore today.
Hope you are all doing alright.

Re: Coming to terms with reality
Those days are over now..kids all 20s.. youngest 18 and the last 2-3 yrs ive been encouraging them to stay with their dad on their semester breaks...shifting all the weight on him now..since i have retired and not well. Not easy though...had done it through the courts. Godwilling there are 4 more years to go till the kids all complete their degree each. Need as much time for myself now..for building inner strength, pondering and listing down my next 5yrs plan projection.
Done camping all those yrs @eudemonism. Most of them on field trips into the rainforest and peatswamps getting specimens for my thesis. Then twice annually with students for training..night walking, jungle trekking, hiking and team building. We had absailing and flyingfox too a couple of times. Take enough sulphur with you to keep away snakes and poisonous arachnids etc.
