Re: Seeking mutual support from carers
a day to yourself ounds good @Bella1978 any speciic plans or just going with the flow?
i know you like your morning walks so keep those up too. do you have a nice scenery to look around at while walking?
yeh thats the same as me, when hes ok im usally ok in that department but when he struggling is a huge strain too so im feeling for you too.
wow that is really interesting! i wouldnt have thought that at all. utis are painful so i hope your mum recovers quickly from that. and maybe her mh issues will become better too. physical health and mh seem to go hand in hand and when one goes so does the other. maybe thats why she looked like she was off with the fairies?

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers
No specific plans luv. Will go walkies, and I do need to get some groceries. But apart from that - no plans.
There are a couple of nice parks I like to walk around and sometimes I'll just walk around my neighbourhood.
As for mama being off with the fairies - it may well have been exacerbated by the uti. Its hard to know when mum has uti - she doesn't get any burning.
What u up to tomorrow luv?

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers
a nice and easy going day sounds like a good plan @Bella1978
walks in the parks are often nice depending on how many people there are. i like peace and quiet more than anything atm.
do you have any hobbies like arts/crafts,knitting, patchwork, writing, gardening, anything like that?
i didnt have burning when i had a uti either- i had a nasty kidney infection that took 3 rounds of antibiotics to get rid of but no burning.
um im suppsoe to be helping move boxes around which i wont be able to i dont think not with this arm. i cant even hold a small plastic lightweight cup let alone anything else. pops home tomorrow as well. and prob have mys sisters maybe. i dont really ahve any specific plans though.

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers
Thanks for checking in. We have had a nice Easter break... Though the 8 year old doesn't like the change of routine.... He loves going to school!
I don't know what it is, my hubby tells me it's the autumn grass going to seed that's making my eyes really itchy and irritated, hence avoiding texting and screens. Life is still tiring, plodding along.... At least it's better than drawning hey?
How's your mum? What was her response in receiving your flowers?
One step at a time.... One foot in front of the other, I keep reminding myself. Trying hard to not answer too many calls from mum, to give myself a break.
