Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Thanks for the advice about the lavender @Adge@Appleblossom. When I water it the water goes straight out the bottom. I shall try a larger pot.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @soul, hope you get a better sleep tonight and quieter neighbouring tradies. They sure know how to make themselves at home those guys.

Yes, i take turmeric for arthritis, & notice when I don't.

Hope your Sushi out with daughter went well. My son introduced me to SushiTrain restaurant s, fascinating!

Thought of you when I saw this quote today:
OUR GIRLS
10yo I love you mum!
14yo My mum is so annoying!
18yo I wanna leave this place!
30yo Mum, you were right!
40yo Mum, forgive me!
50yo I don't wanna lose you mum!
60yo Mum, I love you so much!

My thinking has declined today. Stopping my brain formulating a plan to run away and disappear - and guess what grounds me - the birds 🐦, they'd die. The slightest thing like my son not answering my tx today or hearing from a single soul but you guys. I keep looking at my phone in disbelief but just don't know who to call. // At least I did the dishes today. Keep looking for dog but he's gone too hasnt he? Lost a lot of time today. Hopefully wake up different.
Night 🌜🌃 💜💕

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @Former-Member - I was very tired so got to bed at a reasonable hour and slept pretty soundly. The dinner out was nice. We shared some delicious food and there was no cleaning up afterwards 😆

So now I just have to wait until my princess turns 30 and all will be good huh?

Good to know that your birds are having a beneficial influence on your life. Likewise, if it wasn't for my kids and the pets ........??????

Hope it's a good day for you.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Morning @Former-Member @soul ..... anybody else .....

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Gorgeous pic @Faith-and-Hope. Hoe you found a nice coffee shop. I should be out walking but the weather is a bit rainy. I can hear the tradies whistling @Former-Member. Hope they behave today.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @soul ....

I have a favourite coffee shop when I am here, but it's twice as far away as the one near home .... but maybe that means I can be twice as norty ... 😏 ... lol

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

How long are you away for @Faith-and-Hope. Good that you get your exercise in. What are you having with coffee this morning?

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Thanks @soul, glad you caught up on sleep. Do you have a water catcher dish under your laventer? Might help, pots dry out quick. Also, plants seem to do better in terricotta pots i've noticed. My tree man never came back. Enjoy your whistling tradies, hope they do behave. lol

Hiya @Faith-and-Hope, are you away again? Love your morning cafe routine. I'm glad to say my birds are waking me earlier than usual, in a nice way, this is good as I don't feel there's much to get up for otherwise. Your picture actually hasn't come through yet, for me, you always post good ones.

Hope we all have an ok day. My son just answered yesterdays tx ☺ He's off to a 10day NZ holiday next week, with one of his old school buddies. Happy for him ☺ Well, I beta rise, grab a cuppa, do something. Have 4hrs shop shift today. Cloudy here, my garden needs rain.
❤❤❤

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Oh, there it is @Faith-and-Hope, love those colours. Thanks ❤🐦

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

I do have a little dish under the plant @Former-Member. I have just put it outside in the rain bit have also soaked it in a bucket for a bit. Will get that other bigger pot and some potting mix when I go to Bunnings next.

Did the tree man leave your job uncompleted? Tradies are quiet so far.

Your son will enjoy his NZ holiday. Such a pretty place. Is he going to do some skiing whilst he's there?
