Hi @Former-Member
Yes - it is a strange situation with your parents and exactly what can you do when it seems your mother is paranoid about your father getting the help he needs and is entitled to
Such a strange situation - this has to be really hard for you
Thinking of you though
Lots of cyber hugs

Hey @Former-Member - hope you are feeling a bit better. I know you spend some time gardening. I bought a lavender plant. It's in a pot and I can't really plant it in the garden as the trees cause too much shade. When I saw it at Bunnings, it looked really healthy but now the flowers seem to droop. Is that too much water or not enough? Do you think I should put it in a bigger pot?
Are your birds getting used to their new home? Do they call out to other birds around you? My budgie is so noisy at times, I put a cover over him even during the day.

Hi @soul, I'm ok I guess, thanks. Hope you are? My son just rang for a good chat, gives me a lift 💜
Not sure about your lavender🌿 but they like sunshine, drained soil, water twice a week. But @Adge and @Appleblossom might be able to offer more tips for you.
Yes, my birds are settling, happier. Funny you ask if they call out to the wild birds, today a honeyeater flew into the house, around the livingroom and back out again. Never happened before, guessing its the birds. They get extra chatty sunrise & sunset. Your budgie sounds very vocal. I can't handle the noisy birds, that's why I chose these quieter ones. I posted picks on 'everything birds' thread.
Thanks for chatting ❤🐦❤🐦❤

For a little bird @Former-Member, he sure can make a loud noise. It pierces my eardrums. He loves to chatter to the vacuum cleaner, washing machine and especially my blender.
Quiet birds sound like a good idea. Very peaceful. Here's a pic of him. Have a good sleep.

@Former-Member I saw your birds in the other thread. Beautiful.
I spent time in a bird shop last month but would not buy yet, with my 2 cats.
I am glad your son is keeping contact and helping. You deserve it.
I went out tonight to choir, it was his first time, he said "better get back on the horse", after he dropped out of the opera, so I am glad he had a good night tonight.
@soul @Determined @Owlunar @Faith-and-Hope
The weather was better today.
