Yes it was yummy I get very excited any time I can have KFC but they are generally sooo expensive. Today they started a $8 Tuesday special. Basically you get a choice of one of 4 different buckets;
5 pieces of chicken
10 tenders
18 chicken nuggets
8 wicked wings
It didn't really rain today - just grey and damp and depressing.

I love to buy a hot chook and crusty bread rolls with mayo. Yummy. Funny I was just saying that spaghetti bolognaise is our national dish.

What's a community guide and would it make any difference to tell you that these forums are not initially very easy to navigate?

Hello hello all my friends! @Shaz51 @Oaktree @Former-Member @Former-Member @BlueBay
Once again, my head is down, working.... 1.5 weeks and then I'm on holidays! Yay!
I have been reflecting a lot lately. My work habits are NOT healthy. I work soooo much that there is no balance in my life. For me, I soothe myself by saying, "when I was depressed, I didn't/couldn't work....now, since I am able, make the most of it".
In actual fact, I believe it is a part of my BPD which I still need to tackle. I use "work" as a strategy to avoid things. For example, when people ask me out for dinner, I say "I'm working". When people ask me to hang with them, I say, "I'm working". I have a fear of relationships - that when people get to know me, they won't like me. Hence, I "work" as an avoidance tactic.
I ideally, want things to be different. But the "over-working" ends up being my comfort zone, particularly because I enjoy my field of work.
On the outside, people think I'm super-social. But on the inside, only God knows, the anxiety and stress that comes with an "outing". If it is with kids who I can "hide behind", it's good. But if there are no kids around, I end up getting so anxious and stressed out.
I see this as the black/white BPD brain - it's all or nothing 😞
Can anyone relate?
