@Pooh_bear Same here with the driving except that it's because I've become too nervous driving to do it. I live pretty much in my local area these days, mostly going to places that are within walking distance or a quick bus ride or I get a lift from partner. I play guitar to a small degree and enjoy it, especially when occasionally having a loose jam with some others I know who also play. I keep thinking I might pick up the guitar at home when I'm alone a bit more and maybe learn some new music or even re-hash some old ones. Haven't got around to it for a while but there's always hope. I've been playing it on and off since I was a child, mostly in loungerooms far and wide.

Acoustic or electric?

@Appleblossom I've played classical guitars (nylon strings, my favorite), steel string acoustics and plugged in acoustics. Basic folksy kind of stuff, mainly to accompany my singing. Busked in Sydney for a while a long time ago to help pay the rent. Made a little cash especially when singing in an echoey pedestrian tunnel. I don't have the best voice in the world by any means but some people have liked what they heard.

I am sure it sounded good. @Mazarita
I prefer nylon strings ...I mainly played guitar when I was in Fairfield getting over my hep ... "Hotel California" "House of the Rising Sun" etc ... love the relaxed sound of fol and often go to a folk music camp. Now my son has 3 guitars (nylon, steel, electric) and doesnt play them ... he sounded good too ... but we all have to find our way.
Yep acoustics of tunnels make a lot of difference. I am glad to see so much more busking around during the last few years, but it can also be exhausting .. out in the elements etc.
cheers

Hi @Mazarita
Thank so much for sharing that image. I really like your selection and it looks like a lot of people can relate to that 'mask' of confidence that is depicted in that image.
Does anyone else have images they would like to share?
Keep them coming!

I have chosen this image and it is my own, taken on Sunday morning as the day dawned. It depicts something quite beautiful, a precious and beautiful soul, but something around the edges at this moment in time, is not quite right. It won't be permanent and with love and support, its beauty will shine through.

The sense of unreality and the beauty ... gorgeous ... thank you

Hi @Charli, I'm not the most technically gifted moderator so perhaps the easiest way is to email it to me and I'll then try to upload. Our email address is team@saneforums.org
