Re: Battling MI whilst caring for someone with MI
@Bella1978. Yay I don't need to type out peoples names. Yay!!!
So if the things your mum wants at the shops are not necessary - eg 6 of everything - don't do it.
Go in and visit her and take a pkt of biscuits. This might have to be your first stand against her.
Won't be easy but with practice you will get good at it.
Try not to worry tonight about tomorrows meeting. What will happen will happen. It's all ready been decided. Try and get a good sleep so you're refreshed for tomorrow.

Haha @utopia ... it's cool not having to type in the name all the time! And u can attach pics too! Very cool.
Am feeling nervous about tomorrow. I think they may say it is onset of dementia which is scaring me. I can only wait until tomorrow and see what happens. Im sitting on my bed colouring in. Relaxes me ☺ xx

Re: Battling MI whilst caring for someone with MI
Unfortunately Dementia isn't rare in people who have MI. Dementia is even classed as a MI.
But lets just wait and see what they say. It might not be as bad as you're expecting.
If during the meeting you are unsure of anything - ask them to explain. If the news triggers anxiety - let the staff know so they can help you.
I have my fingers crossed that the news will be gentle.
Sending hugs. ♥♥♥

I can't sleep. Brain won't switch off ... plus I've drunk heaps of pepsi max so I'm probably high on caffeine lol!

You poor thing @Bella1978. Not like you to be awake at that hour.
Are you up and ready for the day?
All the best for today.
