Re: A long rave

@Sophia1 Sophia1 I will imagine you under the support buttons while you are away as .... I like to see you there :). I perfectly understand about 'family member'  makes it stressful for you and hard to talk believe me I do xxxx.

Will be wishing you all the luck possible with your operations. I am sure that you have done your homework well and have faith in the specialists. Will miss you while you are away. Don't be away for long though. Love greenpea xxxx

Re: A long rave

Will do @Zoe7.

Sending warm wishes @Sophia1

Anyone here tonight?  Loud party next door that will go most of the night so I'll be around for a while and then on and off through the night most likely.

Re: A long rave

Hi @eth is it that close to you. I always imagined you on a big block, but loud party sounds can travel in the country.  I am home. Had a big day, and had a good outcome for my son.  The other side turned at last minute and made a decent proposition. Something which I had looked into and hoped for a year ago, so they managed to drag it out all this time, but at least it is done.  Cant say more.

@outlander  Hope you are managing your self talk. You are very worth it! Lots of Loreal.

@Mazarita Hugz and gentle days

@Sophia1 Feeling for you re family member.

@Exoplanet Velvety sounds good.

Re: A long rave

Sounds like you've had some excellent news at last @Appleblossom.  I'm happy for you.  Very.

The party is in the back shed of the place on the other side of our vegie garden and my cabin's also in the back of the yard so it's only about 25m away.  At least the band playing now is better than the previous 2.  Par for the course - loud live music interspersed with louder bassy DJ stuff and they usually go til at least 3-4am.  The environment centre is at the front of that block and the whole party is to raise money to support anti-coal actions.  At least 200 people there.  If I need to I can go sleep in the big house spare bedroom, but I think my meds will kick in and I'll get some sleep before too much longer.

Re: A long rave

I get the picture. @eth

so party is a grin and bear it situation, for a good cause and all that, but did it have to be next to my backyard.

Yes re son.  Still plenty of work to do, but not facing a wall of stigma.

Re: A long rave

Bed and telly time for me @Appleblossom.  Sleep well xx

Re: A long rave

Good morning, @CheerBear. Middle of the night still here, but thinking it's a bit later where you are and that sometimes you are awake at ridiculous-o-clock. Here for chat if you, or anyone else is floating around at this hour. Hoping that everyone is sleeping well instead, which is where I'll be going again before too long. A kind awakening to all whenever that happens. Heart

Re: A long rave

Hi everyone, writing in the middle of the night, leaving this message here for whenever it is found.

@outlander, hugs for the difficulties you have been going through with an anxious mind, that I read about on another thread. I relate to this, as my mind seems to be jumping from thought to thought in a generally worried way a lot more lately. As @Teej said on the other thread, not sure if this is medication related. I am on a high dose of anti-depressants, which could be contributing to it. I'm going to stick to the high dose because I believe it is helping a lot in other ways. But I understand what you are going through, sending hugs, and hoping this improves for you soon.

@Exoplanet, great to hear from you. Good on you for cleaning the kitchen shelves. I like hearing that the staffy wasn't bounding away from you in the forest and causing worried moments, as he sometimes does. Sweet to think the dogs might be preferring the newly fenced comforts of home. A velvety head sounds really nice to run your hands over and very sensible for the weather starting to happen your way. Big yikes to the temperatures you might be facing. I think slack is a pretty reasonable way to go as the days are heating up. Very heartening to read that your daughter apologised for her partner's behaviour. Though I'm hoping the phone calls return for you both, it's wonderful to hear that the communication lines are still open on the net.

@eth, hope you are getting some sleep as I write and that the neighbours haven't disturbed you too much, though it's hard to imagine how they wouldn't with the volume you were describing. Understand that it's for a good cause and hope that makes it less difficult an experience for you in some way. Nice to read about your ongoing creativity with cooking. I had the cardio test yesterday. They really put me through a work out on the treadmill. Even when I was going to gym, I never puffed, panted, sweated and struggled so hard! They also did an ultrasound of my heart. Saw the cardiologist later in the day when the results were in. Turns out my heart is in great shape according to the more thorough testing! The only issue they raised is that I am very unfit for someone my age. Giving some thought now to if and how I might improve this. Still need some follow up on cholesterol and other matters with GP next week, and also want to talk to her about why else I would have been getting the chest pain. But mostly seem to be out of the woods with recent health scare. Good to hear you are keeping up with the habit of doing some stuff before coming online in the early part of the day, at least sometimes. That's how it is for me too, mostly doing physio exercises and making the bed. It does feel good.

@greenpea@Appleblossom@Sophia1@Shaz51@Zoe7 and everyone, sending love and good wishes for this day. Heart
