Glad you are looking forward to getting together with your mother.  It is often a curly relationship to negotiate over the years, but it seems you have a fair insight.

I have a really big day at work today. So that's my focus. To get through it without getting too stressed.

 

I have made a pact with my daughter to do plank every evening. Once upon a time we used to do a solid routine. So she'd moved out and we're starting small, and texting each other when we've done it.

I have found a great series of videos about weight loss, which is informed re endocrine system.  I love it, as it makes total sense to me regarding the role  stress and cortisol/insulin play in weight gain.

It is the first time I have been "told" more sleep matters, and tho High Interval Intensive Training (HIIT) is important one can do too much and that recovery from exercise and sleep are MORE important.  As I spent 7 years in gyms as well as many other physical exercise modes, this link was such music to my ears.

How are we going today?

My little phone is still hanging in there. However I'm desperately in need of an upgrade.

-Take dog for walk every morning or afternoon. (somewhere close bye)
-go fishing as often as possible (whenever weather permits)
-stay on top of house and garden duties. (regular maintenance)
-get a she-oak seedlings for backyard. (plant in corner*of yard)
-go to bed around 10-11pm / get out of bed 6-7am
-maintain socialising and relationships (make new friends)

See how I go with that...
