Hello Shaz 🌸 thank you for checking in with me 😘
I have been keeping low key the past couple of weeks, spring always plays a bit of havoc with my moods making me easily irritable and finding it harder to concentrate.
Awareness is my biggest tool in my toolbox atm, acknowledging and giving myself permission to just stop! I've touched base with my professionals and let work know that my mental health needs my attention, so now it's time to batten down my hatches and allow it to pass.
I found over the years by trying to push past it and keep going it makes my symptoms persist. So I will be upping my self care proballly meds a little, staying home and treating myself 😊
big hugs xxxx

thanks for the tag, hope you are doing good. I'm delving into my "not coping" toolbox this week, where I give in to the fatigue and headaches and just disengage as best I can.
xoxo

Hi @SJT63 SJT
So agree! Both re knowledge is power and the value of a quick walk.
I just went up the hilly road across the road, up and down 2 times.
Feel so much better even if I was very puffed up for the first one, lack of practice. Took my 10 12 minutes but I reckon because it is up, it should count for a 20 minutes brisk walk (thinking I am getting a discount might make me do this more often :-))

Thanks @Shaz51
Today is OK but to my surprise one day last week I woke up with no fuel left and pretty down.
Surprise because I was doing pretty well I thought. It showed me how close to empty I actually was but even more than in times of distress (lockdown, raising cases and so forth) I actually need to fill up more with good stuff than usual.
Simple math really, more needed out so more needs to go in to not deplete the system.
Morality: when life feels like a cactus, watch this 🙂
