@Former-Member I don't mind my own company and the sound of silence,
Nothing but the wind and the water slapping against the side of the boat.
Didn't catch anything unfortunately but I dont mind, was nice to just kick back and relax...

I love being out on the water at sunset @Former-Member but not at this location, its a navigational challenge even in daylight (lots of water but only a narrow channel), other places we go I avoid during school holidays as there is too much traffic,

Pleased to report no coast guard required today @Former-Member, I did manage to beach myself exploring a new area but it was on a rising tide so only a 10 minute delay. Gave me an excuse to get out and paddle around in the water while pushing the boat to deeper section lol.

Blood pressure would have been up if my darling was with me lol, she doesn't cope with that sort of thing very well.

Some positive news in the determined family, well at least I am looking at it as positive and holding on to hope that this is the first step for some positive change.
We went to see our pastor about some relationship councilling at my darlings request. She for the first time ever was open and honest about how she currently feels about marriage. (That part wasnt very positive 😔) . I love and appreciate pastors ability to state the obvious in such a defusing way. It was quite a productive visit.
He is going to contact a councillor he has worked with before to see if she is able to work with us... making first contact and explaining our situation is always very difficult for me so this step is much appreciated.
Holding on to hope that this may be able to give us some direction as we could really do with the help at the moment.

Happy to hear that you enjoyed your time on the water @Determined and that counselling may be a goer.
