Yeah, that is the trick.  I really can't answer it other than to say how much strength and resilience it takes anyone to rebuild once, let alone time and time again.  Hopefully one of the rebuild sticks and doesn't need to be done again.  Of course, none of this it to say that I'm dismissing in any way how frustrating, exhausting, and devastating the continuing personal toll must be.
