That's a bit of a shock  - and yes - if the dx is accurate it would have been helpful to know about it earlier in your life 

 

And true - what are you supposed to do about it? That's a toughie - um - actually I believe you are the same person you were before you learned this and you can go on as you have been  - and you can inform yourself on the facts here in this website 

 

Actually my new GP gave me my dx of PTSD recently  - I thought that was the truth for a long time but kept being told it was anxiety and depression which isn't the case and I only needed that for a Mental Health Plan.

 

I get it Adge - it's confusing
