I don't personally subscribe to it. I think what you do in life is more important than what you own.
Don't get me wrong, it's good here in Aus. But I think housing is a mugs game for the big cities.
I could enter the property market with a loan and a full time job. But the job would be boring and the house would not be in a popular area.. what's the point of having a house in an area that doesn't sell or attract people.
Real estate is a weird industry. I'd rather be a real estate agent and earn commission on properties that are sold.
