Hi @Lostlad
I'm new here too.
I've posted about the issues going on for me and got supportive replies.
What does your mental health and life look like?
There should be someone that can relate and provide some insight.
Travel well.

I've reached out and been accepted by the Guided Recovery thing. On Sunday, I completed and submitted the baseline questionnaire of where I'm at.
Monday was a holiday.
Now I'm still waiting for a response regarding what's next.
I find that often when I make an effort, (sometimes i get momentum), but often if I don't get a response to my action, I feel worthless and paralysed.
That's how I feel now.
I haven't eaten breakfast.
I should provably do that.
Is dopamine addiction a thing?
Like with social media addiction, and FOMO (fear of missing out).
I was on the Liven app which helped (but after 3 months it became too expensive).
It mentions Dopamine addiction.
I did find it helpful to acknowledge how I was feeling in the morning and any other time.
I'm going to eat breakfast now, and get a few things done that don't require a response from other people. Ie: Tidy my space, do a little bookkeeping work online.
I wanted to reach out this morning. Mondays aren't great for me.
But i think it helps to be abke to acknowledge how I feel to a compassionate ear.

hey there @fruitisgood welcome!! love watching movies, and i just got back into reading too. love fantasy genres, are you reading anything at the moment?

Thankyou 🙂 yes I am! Finishing off The Inheritance cycle (Eragon) and just started the 4th book. Recently read The Hobbit and fell in love. Next on the list is to read the LOTR books which I'm looking forward to because I've never read them before. What are you reading/ have you read ?

Hi @fruitisgood
I also enjoy movies.
They help me connect with emotional experiences of others and feel things are right in the world even when things go wrong.
Reading isn't right for me now, but I do listen to an audio book sometimes. I can also do it while walking.
It's good to do the things you enjoy and support your health.
Many years ago I read some SciFi (Dune, Asimov) and also read the Hobbit and parts of LOTR.
Recently, I've watched some good SciFi movies, like Interstellar and Inception, and the recent Dune movies were well done.
Have a good day.
