Hi @EternalFlower . Sorry I missed a heap of mail Eternal. Covid took up residence in me and the plague sign on the front door must have scared the postie away. Are you still at home cooking those tinned
tomatoes and spices. Are you managing a smile or two.
Well . . . just know I'm thinking of you. I'll be back to check on you when I'm over this bug.
Don't let the sauce stick, and remember mate. as in life, we need a little sugar to balance the acid. . .
kind thoughts tonys.

doing okay @tyme how are u?
had a decent week, my friends been checking in which helped me, ndis is a bit intense - my support coordinator knew i was needing someone to help me set up my space at home so she asked if she could send her son as he's a support worker.
i don't like it when people do things like this.
happens a lot.

That's hard @EternalFlower . I see it all the time. Support workers coming, then going, not turning up, leaving people in the lurch.... it's so hard to plan anything that way @EternalFlower
I hope you find someone stable. I know I wouldn't like it if I had different people all the time.

hi @tyme i was going to try do support coordination myself but i got a bit discouraged - i was gonna try do it for others - its so sensitive this stuff and so important
but i'm pretty lucky to have a few good people in my corner at the moment.
and a few issues that i can solve prretty easily... ndis provides some food options as i dont eat very well and have put on a bit of weight

@EternalFlower @tyme @tonys @TAB @Dimity
Don’t think I remembered to include you in my post @EternalFlower but I changed my username from Meggle to Oaktree.
Good to hear that you have been walking lately. That must make you feel a little better. I love how @tonys is essentially giving you a recipe on cooking tomatoes lol. Add a little sugar?
Sorry that you are struggling with different people being sent to help you at home. It’s much better to work with people that you have built a relationship with. Thinking of you and hope that you are doing ok

Glad you had a good day @EternalFlower .
Last year I had 2 helpers leave at short notice. It's hard to find good people and I've been putting off looking again.

hi, i said yes initially to that person working in my home and then my friend helped me to walk it back
its hard because - the son was about 19 years old and i dont want some young guy in my home - no disrespect but it's not suitable - especially the task was setting up decor in my home therapeutically - it required someone specialised, who was into that at least, not just the person's son - how awkward
but i said yes because i always do because i dont know how to say no

Very awkward @EternalFlower and unfortunately it sounds as though she was pressuring unfairly because of the family connection. But maybe he might be OK for any occasional handyman stuff you need.
