hey everyone.. I'm new here
I was looking for some therapy online but this site just popped out for me..
so here I am trying to explain the mess inside me for so many strangers..
I came to Australia couple of months ago..
feeling so lonely and confused I don't know where to start or what to do ..
to be honest this is not even my main problem .. I came here running away from war in my country leaving my family behind .. I did that just to let my child have a good life and not being in war all the time and losing his life...
still this is not the problem.. maybe the problem is what I'm trying to forget .. things are inside me I thought I could write about them here but I couldn't.. I lived so many awful things It's all stuck in my memory I can't sleep at night just thinking of them..
I'm always angry I hate everyone for what they did to me and my family .. but it's so sad that I only have those people left in my life..
I don't know where to go what to do.. I need some one to talk to.
but I'm a mess inside I don't know how to explain what I went through ...
I don't know if anyone would read this will understand anything.. at least I tried
thank's for reading my mess...

Hi @sarah1994 I'm glad that you came across the forums and that you felt able to share some of your story here.
From what you've shared it sounds as though you've been through some extremely difficult times. I just want you to know that you're not alone, we're here with you.
I hear how difficult it is knowing where to start or how to explain what you've been through and that's okay, take your time, there's no rush.
Do you have any supports here in Australia - friends or family who you've been able to lean on?
As you mentioned you were looking for online counselling I thought I'd leave a few resources for you here for you to take a look at if you'd like: You can call SANE's helpline on 1800 187 263, or Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636, they both offer free counselling, support and information.
There are also specialised support services that might be even more suited to what you're going through, but those services I've mentioned can help you to find further support tailored to your needs as well as things like your age and location (things that are tricky to do here as we need to stay anonymous).

Hi @sarah1994, welcome to the forum, and Australia as well. Thanks for sharing some of what you've had to endure and please feel free to continue to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We're here to support you however we can. @Ru-bee had some great suggestions for you. I'd also like to suggest if there are any community centres in your area they often run groups that you may find helpful. There might be other social groups around you could try as well.
I understand that being around people, especially strangers, at the moment might be a bit too much considering what you've been through. If you're in a city area, then there may be clubs for people from your home country that you may find easier.
But if you just want to keep things online for now, then that is perfectly fine. That's what I did when I first started trying to make connection with people. I found after some time talking to friendly and supportive people, it became easier for me to start meeting people face to face. So just continue to do whatever you feel comfortable with. I'd suggest starting by reading through other people posts here. Although I doubt many have just left war ravaged countries, I think you'll find a lot of people have some similar issues. A lot of people don't really know how to explain what they've gone through and just want someone to talk to or just to listen.
So well done for reaching out and I know it could have been easy or you. But you don't have to feel alone here. So take good care of yourself Sarah and hopefully you'll find it helpful and supportive here.

@sarah1994 just a lil tip, if you want other members to be notified that you've responded, you can tag them - use the @ symbol and a drop down will appear, and you can choose their name. If their name isn't there, you can type it out and it should then appear for you to select, then it will show up in blue, like this: @MJG017 @Ru-bee
😁💜
