I carry in my genes a superpower, the last vestige of one of the two greatest evolutionary advantages given to any species.
What am I?
I am the first human to ever pick up a stick and run at a predator.
I took less than 1,000 people and turned them from prey to predator and made them the greatest persistence hunters this world has seen.
We conquered the world in less than 100,000 years.
Who are "we"?
We are the one in twenty of us who are blessed with ADHD.
Some would call it a curse...
I look for the "leg shakers", the "fidgeters", the people who can't say more than two sentences to the one person, the people with 6 things going on in their mind that makes talking to them like rolling a dice... I love you, every one of you mad bastards, the whole lot of you, and you know why? What you do is unconditional.
You are my tribe...
We are no farmers.
You are not alone. Find your tribe.
Oh, and google who Thag Simmons was too. 🤣
Pretty sure he would of been ADHD out the wazoo...

Oh, and the second Superpower is Autism.
C'mon we all got a dose somewhere along the spectrum, it is a spectrum so we are all on it, it's just some of us are a little bit off centre, ok?
I got a fair dose of the autism stick, but enough to be fun. I got the sort that makes me wanna pull stuff apart and put it back together again with wildly varying degrees of success. 😳🫢🤗
I would bet my house that the first person, she coulda been a girl, don't ever forget that, we don't have a pic, OK? Where was I, the person who invented the wheel, I bet they were autistic. Think about it people!
What a weird abstract idea, lets chop down a tree, cut a slice of it and build a wheelbarrow.
Yep, sounds like a solid valid idea to me, but I am autistic out the wazoo...👍😁
It is at this point I will take a time to be outrageously sexist and declare my belief that a bloke invented the wheel, for the following reason. So his mate would make one and they could race them. Bogan cavemen, it's genetic... I have a theory. 😁
I do believe that it was most likely a woman who saw the practical side of things and built the wheelbarrow.
I firmly believe all the great inventors and scientists responsible for the standard of living we enjoy today were in some form "well on the spectrum" as far as autism went.
The second Superpower...
