If any one is looking for a role in mental health at SANE, you may be interested in some roles that are currently up:

Thank you of thinking of me @tyme ; i'm honoured for the tag. Definitely interested for the future, but currently am unable to even consider returning to paid/regular employment for at least 3-4 months, so unfortunately the timing isn't right.
Also curious though when they list "part time" how few hours are allowed 🤔.
Either way, if i decide to do the Cert IV MH Peer Work certificate in the future, SANE would be on my list for seeking if there were a spot available for prac hours. 😊.

@AlwaysMyself I definitely think you’ll smash it if you were to apply for this role in the future when you do and complete the Cert IV & have experience in doing anything like peer facilitation etc. (like it shows on the requirements)!! 😊

Sounds like it’ll be something I might consider in the future by the time after I complete the Cert IV & have had enough experience with facilitating peer groups — both is what I’m doing currently, and this year is my first year of doing them both.

Thats very sweet of you also @Blackcloud . I'm looking forward to your journey too in peer work and MH as you continue your studies and work placements 😊.
Actually my only formal "experience" in MH/peer/support is from my volunteer youth mentoring i have done for a few years. Then "informal" being supporting friends since childhood and then the last 9 months on the forums here as a normal member. So i actually wouldn't qualify under the experience requirements 😉.

@AlwaysMyself @Thank you!!😊 the course and the placements are currently going well for me so far I’d say, so that’s good ❤️
And ahh okay, I see.
