Re: TW: Trauma and relationships
Hey @creative_writer haven't spoken in a bit, but just wanted you to know I've been reading along, and I'm sorry things feel so endless for you. Sometimes it's not about doing more or trying harder - cos we're already doing so much, and we can burn ourselves out on the process. Have hope darlin, change can be agonisingly slow, sometimes to the point it's unnoticible, but it doesn't mean things aren't shifting.
Sending some hugs your way, and maybe I'll catch you next week 🫂💜

Re: TW: Trauma and relationships
@creative_writer, I'm very impressed that you've nearly finished your degree, good on you! What's your major?
It sounds like you have a really good sense of self-awareness. And it also sounds like that you have a lot on your shoulders right now and need to have a good support network around you — so if you feel the need for a change with your psychologist, you need to do what is best for you.
Wishing you all the best with the rest of your degree and placement!
Looking forward to hearing from you again, take care 😊

Re: TW: Trauma and relationships
@defaultusername I’m doing a Master in social work. I don’t even know how I did it to be honest. I know having support is important, I’m too scared to trust someone new.
@tyme it’s been so damn exhausting. Keeping it all together is exhausting.

Re: TW: Trauma and relationships
Absolutely hear you on that one @creative_writer
How are your studies going? Is the placement done and dusted? Or do you have another placement to do later on?

Re: TW: Trauma and relationships
I just don’t want my issues to hold me back from a career. There is something that needs to happen, but I don’t know what. I feel guilty saying therapy is no longer helping me
