@tyme it's less about suggestions of what I could do, it's more the need to feel heard. I'm not great at validating myself and so while I'm still learning that I need some help with trusting my emotions and that they're telling me the right thing... does that make sense?

Totally makes sense... @avant-garde
I would feel hurt if I was belittled/invalidated like that...
Alternatively, go to your last session - it might surprise you? IDK lol

Up to you @avant-garde
You can go to your last session and just before leaving, hand them the letter. OR you can not go and just given them the letter?
Totally your call.
The main thing is that you don't want to come out feeling worse than what you did going in!

the sessions haven't felt like mine for over a month now, I come out feeling downtrodden, hurt, shaken, overwhelmed and unable to process what the heck just happened...

Awww hugs @avant-garde . I'm sorry you have had to go through this. Will you have any other sessions after this set?
For me, I reckon I'd want to set MY boundaries from the very beginning and share what works for me and what doesn't.
This may be helpful for future sessions?
BIG HUGS to you @avant-garde .
I'm about to hop off, but thanks for connecting with me tonight! I always love hearing your progress.
