Re: not coping

im ok. went for a big walk today so resting before work now @Snowie

Re: not coping

Thats right, you start work again tonight @outlander

I hope the shift goes ok for you and you can do just the light duties. Last thing you need is to make things worse.

Re: not coping

yes first shift back in 2 weeks @Snowie it should be fine if theres no major behaviors
i plan to just do very light house work like mopping the floors and just do some admin

Re: not coping

Well I hope it does go easy for you @outlander

Is there anyone else there that can do the heavy lifting?

Re: not coping

most of the heavy lifting and all personal care so all the bending etc is done in the day. nights are usually ok except needing to clean the bathrooms and lift up all the safety mats so they can be cleaned and dried overnight to stop the mould and slime build up but theyre to heavy so i just wont do them or pm shift can lift them up forme and i can just mop in and around them for this week. they get cleaned every day sometimes twice a day if theres been any 'accidents' so they get cleaned all the time. 2 or 3 nights wont make much difference

Re: not coping

Glad thats all done by the day shift @outlander

Hopefully they all sleep well and most of it is just admin work.

Re: not coping

i hope so too @Snowie

Re: not coping

do you have any plans for tomorrow or upcoming this week @Snowie

Re: not coping

Have gp tomorrow to get a procedure done and then got psych on Wednesday @outlander

Hoping that is all for the week. Mum's sick and not getting better so not sure if I need to make another gp appointment for her or not. Will see how she is tomorrow.

I'm hoping for a few 'free' days but doubt I'll get them.

Besides coming home and sleeping, have you got much on this week?

Re: not coping

i hope your preocedure goes ok @Snowie

hoping your mum seems abit better tomorrow to avoid the gp but she might need one if it a bug she cant shake

i dont think theres ever many free days with kids either lol they like to keep you on your toes

i have my psych on wed and specialist on thursday and drs on friday with nightshifts in between but nothing apart from that.
