Re: not coping

yeah i am @Jynx

Re: not coping

Must be a really hard place to be in @outlander So hard when it gets to the point where we can't see things changing too.

Life can be so difficult at times. Especially if it feels like it's all we know.

Re: not coping

@outlander aww hun, sounds like everything is pretty overwhelming for you right now. I'm here to listen if you wanna get anything off your chest? Or we can just chat about other stuff, whatever's clever. What do you think you might be needing right now?

Re: not coping

facing homelessness for so long starts to get to you for a while. not really knowing where youll end up, how long you have where you are. its tough
@Jynx @Snowie
my shing has returned after many months. i hope to see my psychologist again soon now that shes back from holidays.
i have my major surgery coming up as well in only 3 weeks time. so i have a few weeks off work coming up.

Re: not coping

Oh yeah that's hectic @outlander would be keeping you in a state of permanent stress for sure. I mean, safe shelter is a baseline need after all. I can imagine having upcoming surgery isn't helping!!

What will you do to occupy your time while you wait you reckon?

Re: not coping

It must be really hard not knowing where you'll end up @outlander What the future holds, especially if there are more questions than answers.

Hopefully you can see your supports soon hon. It is really hard when they go on holidays.

I hope your surgery goes well and does help you hon.

Re: not coping

i have a place to stay atm but who knows who long for @Jynx and the lease on the other house expired over a month ago so i dont know anything.

i will just continue to go to work. i work doubles so i have savings in case i can get another house or i need something during the time im off work.

Re: not coping

it is hard @Snowie
this isnt a position i thought i wouldve found myself in after giving my life to others so they would be safe or looked after.
i think my psychologist is looking at booking next week but i didnt hear any confirmation today so im not sure. hopefully ill hear back tomorrow.

the surgery should hopefully provide some answers. recovery is about 4-6 weeks long depending how everything heals. so nearly a month off work

Re: not coping

It would be hard hon @outlander not knowing where you'll be in 6 months, a years time.

I hope you hear back from your psych soon. Mine's been away for a long time too.

That is a long recovery, but if it helps than I guess it will be worth it. Some answers would be great.

Re: not coping

i dont even know where i will be week to week @Snowie it would be good if i had 6 months or something somewhere.

mine takes 6 weeks or so for holidays over dec/jan and its good she takes that time but it seems to be the time i need her most. seems like this time of year is hard for so many
