Re: not coping

@outlander, just wanted to let you know I hear you. You have a lot on your plate, and it takes so much strength to do what you are. You are getting through it. You are amazing and strong. You are inspirational. I do hope NDIS gets back to you sooner than later đź’–đź«‚. Wait times can be ridiculous

Re: not coping

i cannot believe my luck. i create a good bond with my new support worker and now she will be leaving. i understand why she is leaving but its incredibly hard to loose her and her support. almost more like a friend then having a support worker around specifically.

i cant keep doing this

Re: not coping

Hi @outlander , that's really disappointing news. It's really hard to start again with someone new when you've built that rapport and understanding, especially if it's someone who feels more like a friend. I hear how exhausting it is to keep going at the moment. Is there something kind you can do for yourself today if you have time while you think about what you're going to need to do next?

Re: not coping

There’s been to many changes and so much loss. Job changes and job loss. Changes in medical supports and now changes in community supports . It’s too much to constantly handle. Just when I get ok with someone they leave. @espressologic

Re: not coping

Having to constantly adapt is really draining, especially when it's happening on all fronts. And it makes it hard to trust the next person, if you don't know how long they'll be around for. I know it doesn't help solve all of this, but I hope here on the forum we can be some of that 'constant' for you amongst all the change while you figure out what comes next. Always here to listen. @outlander

Re: not coping

@outlander, starting over is always hard and it’s completely valid to feel upset. It’s okay to give yourself the space to grieve. Sending you lots of love 💖🫂
