Re: not coping

Hey there @outlander  Im sorry Im late; thank you @Shaz51  for tagging

I read you have covid, @outlander and starting to feel worse...Im really sorry.

I wondered if you might qualify for the antivirals? I think people on certain medications, of a certain age, or have some kinds of medical conditions can get access to them on the PBS, via a GP Telehealth apt where they send a prescription to a chemist and I think some of them can shuttle the medication via courier or staff drop off in some areas. Im sorry if this doesn't apply, however I gently wanted to mention it just in case it may be of help 💜

Lots of love and wishing you get well soon 🌺

Re: not coping

hey @creative_writer @Shaz51 @Former-Member

i went and done some cleaning instead of being destructive. pretty worn out now but pops room is cleaned and all his draws are now labeled so he remembers which draw is which and we a massive pile to donate so ive put them online.
ive also gone through my kitchen pantries and done a clean out and also have a big box to donate to someone in need so thats also advertised but will be no contact pick up.

all the washing for pop is finally done as well. still have the towels and mine but i think that can wait for now its not urgent and starting to feel to tired and unwell to do anything else.

@Former-Member i do qualify for the antivirals but due to the size and my swallowing difficulties i cannot take them

Re: not coping

Hey there @outlander  🌺

Sounds very productive indeed 🙂 with lots achieved.

Hopefully covid gets better soon 💜🙂

Ah, that makes total sense regarding the antivirals - I haven’t seen them 🙂

Re: not coping

ive been in isolation for over a week @Former-Member so im going very stir crazy at this point. pops just tested negative so we wouldve been able to go out living life as normal but since im positive im still stuck at home.

i have had any communication from anyone either even in iso. just taking care of an overgrown child that has had supports including friends stopping in (obviously covid safe with masks and they stayed at a big distance) and a couple called through the week to check on him

it just reminds me how isolating it is. i even set up with a sw to do check ins every now and then but that hasnt happened either.
ive been crocheting and scrapbooking and watching alot of tv but decided to do a big clean today well some of it.

Re: not coping

Hey there @outlander 🙂🌺

Sorry to hear the isolation is preventing the usual activities of life 💜

Its hard to not have supports, especially when limited in activities, and when looking after someone else ❤️‍🩹

I hope things can get back to normal really soon 🙂🌺💜

Re: not coping

Re: not coping

Oh @outlander  I’m really sorry to read that 😔❤️‍🩹

I wonder if there are any financial support systems that may be worth exploring? It’s really hard to get by these days without financial hardship, but this adds a significant burden 💜

Re: not coping

not really @Former-Member they can offer help with bills but im not really that far behind enough to ask for help and ive got enough stuff in the pantry for the next few days at least to live comfortably
