Re: not coping

i dont mind being in company but it depends on the company they keep @Snowie

being home is a trigger for me so its hard being home but with my ever increasing fatigue and health deteriorating its good to have that space when no one else is around to just flop on the lounge with a movie or in bed with netflix

Re: not coping

Sorry hon, fell asleep last night early @outlander

I know it's not your home so you would probably sometimes feel like a stranger in it.

Can you at least make your room a safe and tranquil place for you? I know you have probably already tried this.

Re: not coping

even my room feels uncomfortable @Snowie half the time once pops gone to bed i come and sleep out on the lounge instead. i even brought a new and bigger bed new bedding etc and it hasnt made a difference

Re: not coping

That must be hard then @outlander

I hope the couch is comfy at least.

Have you heard back from ndis or is it a long wait to hear from them?

Re: not coping

no apparently ndis is taking up to 6 months at the moment @Snowie so it might be a while before i hear anything

i did finish one more tafe assignment though. just have 2 more to go now

Re: not coping

It seems like everything is a long wait, especially when it comes to government agencies.

Have been waiting since last July to finally get an appointment to get Mum dementia accessed.

I don't know why everything has to take so long.

Good work for finishing of your assignment hon

Re: not coping

there was new changes coming in so not sure if thats what the hold up is for so many but youd think they would hire extra staff to clear the backlog if its taking this long for people to hear back or current members to have plan reviews etc.
