Hello @Eve7 @Bow @creative_writer
I agree with @tyme about life stages and you @outlander def being a good presence on the forums. How much is an over share or an undershare??? Seems pretty fickle to tell or to get it right.
Yep I too am practising by writing before speaking. Last year was my social re-engagement year. I learned a lot and mingled a bit. Social rules or norms are always shifting according to who has the highest status in the particular group. This year I am focussing on other things. I will continue to reflect on my social life, cos I simply have always been like that, but it is not going to be my main focus for this year. I have a right to be a person like all the other people, just be me, make mistakes, apologise and move on, and so do you. Not blaming self for other people's limitations. I am doing work on my people pleasing and little helper mode, and trying to expand my "recipe range" if you get what I mean. People also boast about friends as a kind of proof that they are better.
