Re: not coping
Oh @outlander ! 😞 So very sorry about your bad specialist appt 😞 And thank you @Emelia8 for alerting me to your Worry Room post, @outlander - oh gosh.
Is there any chance you can get a second opinion? I know that's problematic (money, travel, time away from your Pop)...but it might give you more hope for the future?
Sending you much 💙 and gentle hugs...

Re: not coping
@NatureLover i could get a second opinion but it is quite expensive, even further testing beyond this point is going to be expensive even with medicare rebates. The only difference between doing and not doing the further testing would be confirming which nerves are also damaged. I would've preferred an mri to check bone structures cause the diagnoses dont seem like 100% fitting.

Re: not coping
They can be distractions and give a sense of peace. @outlander
In last 2 walks with my son he has really enjoyed them. I am glad he is out and about noticing.
Wish I could be of use re your health issues.

Re: not coping
Sounds like your son is enjoying nature and taking pleasure in the simple things too ❤
