That's because you don't have anyone in your life to whom you can talk about all these things
And it is not right - believe me - your mother is abusive in the way she is treating you -
Can you talk to your pop about this? I know he is frail and ill - but believe me - older people love to talk - they need to be needed and they are a resource for you -
In the meantime - talk to your psychiatrist - maybe you can find a social worker - yes - I know - more professional people - but keep trying - I can't talk to anyone in my life about my issues - only here and with professional people - and this is tough
It's really hard and lonely in the dark - this I know

HI @Owlunar @outlander @Former-Member @Fancy_Pants
Great topic Outlander.
I just wanted to add to this convo that there are some self care resources here
We also went into more depth about taking care of yourself while supporting others in a past Topic Tuesday, which you can read over here
Hope they are helpful.
Nik
