Yes, I would still be unsure too. @Dimity
If you book a week ahead, will you book with the previous GP?

Re: Winter solstice
I haven't decided @NatureLover The new one suggested going back in 2-3'weeks.
The morning was a bit chaotic as I'd expected telehealth but they tried to call me in on 15 minutes notice when I hadn't showered or breakfasted, and needed to get a taxi.
The garden helper came but once again did things I hadn't asked for and did hardly any weeding. I'll get her back - it's better than not having her at all.

Re: Winter solstice
That is all very disappointing and stressful, @Dimity ! Sorry to hear 😣
I will be sending wishes that the garden helper listens to you in future. Are you paying her?

Re: Winter solstice
Yes I pay a lot for her help @NatureLover it's quite expensive.
Gosh I'm tired today. I need to water and tidy, but will nap as well.

Re: Winter solstice
If you're paying a lot for her help, then she definitely should be doing what you ask for, @Dimity .
I hope you can nap today.

Re: Winter solstice
4 days until Autumn equinox which is also 6 week mark, the end of my first recovery phase. Another 6 weeks to full recovery.
Utterly over it.
Apart from words on a screen I have zero contact with anyone.

Re: Winter solstice
No wonder you are over your recovery journey - it's a long one @Dimity 😥 🫂
I guess if you are getting your groceries delivered, there's no chance of friendly chatting with a checkout operator, which is something I really used to value when most of my old Christian friends deserted me. (From my experience, the delivery drivers don't chat?)
I hope your spirits are a little lifted by the sunshine today...

Re: Winter solstice
I haven't been through a checkout for years @NatureLover as I've always packed my own shopping jeep at self checkouts. I see a neighbour sometimes.
I sometimes try to ring my sister but she almost never picks up.
I'll have to restart with my therapist sometime but can't face it yet. We never really got started I've only seen her twice.
I thought I would have had help from support workers the last few weeks but I've had the one visit from the gardener . She rearranged the carport instead of weeding. I've had no help with housework in spite of my efforts with council and the agency.
I do feel hemmed in by clutter and lack of transport, but at the same time fear going out.
It sounds as though your change of heart over religion was difficult and disruptive for you, and I'm sorry you lost friends.
