Re: TW

continuing... I. am to go in front of a tribunal in 9 days. I have to say why they don't need to detain me. They (3 of them) will say why it's  necessary and I have to say why it's unnecessary. All I need is ACTUAL help instead of platitudes and empty promises which is the reason I took this step.

I am advised that I have a delusion disorder but I need to know which so that I can counter with argument and evidence.

Re: TW

continuing... @chibam, they have to tell me why they consider it necessary to detain me. They said I have a delusional disorder. He wouldn't be more specific. I later realized how cleverly evasive he had been. I need that information to be able to counter their argument and provide evidence. So, later, I requested an extra moment and anticipated that he would try to avoid me. I sat where he would pass by, but he exited by another door and now has the weekend to prepare. And I can't prepare my defence until I have had the delusion identified.

P.S. This is for a Mental health Tribunal hearing.

Re: TW

Hi @Historylover , I've just come across this thread and read through all of it...am so sorry you were in such a dark place as to attempt suicide 😢

Am also sorry that you feel so trapped and victimised. I really hope they tell you on Monday the exact name of what they have diagnosed you with...surely that is only fair!

Sending you best wishes 🤞

Re: TW

It's like going to court, charged with a crime, but they won't let you prepare your defence by keeping your  'crime' a secret.

I didn't want to 'go', @NatureLover, but when you can't get help despite your most determined efforts, and there are no good experiences to obliterate your bad memories and experiences, there is no joy in staying.

Re: TW

My actual diagnosis is C-/PTSD, but they can't treat it, they can just support me while I heal, and help me gain a firmer footing. But that is MY OWN diagnosis. I seem to be the only one who knows what they are talking about..

Re: TW

@Historylover Just got your notification.

I did not realise you were older than me.  Congrats to you on getting to a good old age despite all the challenges in life.  And staying the course. I am glad your organs are alright after your attempt, that at least is one area of non suffering.  I try and crowd at my grief in times of anniversary dates ... with activities.  I know you are good at structuring things.

Standing for you on the sidelines, with your tribunal hearing.  Have you ever had one before? They have a selected "community" member, a medical and a legal member.  Its pretty intimidating and the outcome can be ongoing, but I am wishing you the best. Ask for that support at home. Keeping a long term focus may help. I am glad you have @chibam as a friend and others here on the forum.
