@Zoe7 Well THAT was a spoiler alert. @Former-Member has clearly seen both our pictures but hasn't pressed the big green button on her desk to turn them into something other than triangles of doom.
I really am going to rest my brain now.

Re: Riding a wave
We are glad you are still out there in the ocean, little turtle. we have been silent following because we have had a little bit of broken of our own, but were very worried when you went quiet. We think a weighted blanket is an excellent idea for all mental health and trauma services to have but ours is not possible because it is community MH attached to hospital.
Keep swimming, little turtle. It's noticed when you're not here and it matters. You matter, even to this bunch of strangers who only met you a few days ago.

Re: Riding a wave
@OhanaSystem I'm sorry to hear that you have had some broken of your own. I'm really pleased that you have all found your way to Forum Land.
I'm super glad you have found such a good therapist through community MH (even if it means you can't have a weighted blanket there!). Someone tried to link me in with my local community MH a few years ago but alas, the psychologist decided she couldn't cope with, well, me after a few sessions. People not being able to cope with me is a recurring theme in my life - you may have noticed. However, TTT copes just fine, which is so super awesome. I am really liking the strategy of me drawing while talking to TTT. She also has colouring in books.
@Former-Member I think you are watching the ocean tonight aren't you? From your flying island? @OhanaSystem Lauz flys around Forum Land on a flying island, which is cool because it means she can land in the ocean and be nearby.

Re: Riding a wave
people not being able to cope with you is more a reflection that they do not feel adequate enough and cannot deal with facing that in themselves..
you certainly have many on here to whom you matter
good to have you back...
