Re: Riding a wave
That one is going to be a giant “Granny square”blanket @Former-Member .... because I have been crocheting them for so long I can do them with my eyes closed and on auto-pilot .....
I don’t have the brain energy for anything more tricksy at the moment .... and the Granny square crocheting is comforting ..... something else to load my right-hand scale with ....
D3 is in my left-hand scale at the moment. She hasn’t pulled up again yet, and she needs to to stay in uni, but that is part of what I am not thinking too much about at the moment .... it’s parked up for when I need to start worrying more about it .... hoping the weekend will make a positive difference there all by itself in the parking lot she’s in .....
Thanks for the pleasant-night wishes @Former-Member .....
I am leaving some petals and sparkles on the ocean tonight in the hope of distracting everyone a little bit .....

Re: Riding a wave
*quietly slips in with a tray on which sits a glass of icy cold strawberry milk, a mug of hot chocolate with a white marshamallow floating on top, a jar of nutella and a spoon, some home made pikelets spread with cream and homemade mulberry jam, a covered plate with a some sliced beef, green beans, mashed garlic potatoes and mushroom gravy, a bowl of choc chip ice cream sits in a cold box along with a spoon.* you never know what a wee turtle might feel like nibbling on so there's a choice.
Pleasant restful hours to you little turtle.

Re: Riding a wave
Granny squares are comforting, I agree @Faith-and-Hope . Are you joining as you go or will you join them eventually? Sounds like granny squares are for you like my tunisian pieces are for me.
Come join us in the craft corner if you'd like, I do enjoy seeing how others craft, it's uplifting to share I think in a caring and respectful environment.
Time for me to leave Forum Land now too.
Goodnight @Faith-and-Hope @Phoenix_Rising rest well everyone. See you tomorrow.

Would you like to come to the beach with a bear and some fish today @Phoenix_Rising? They have buckets and spades and a sand sifting shell thingy with them.
Hope your day has some good in it ☺

Re: Riding a wave
Hello to the Ocean dwellers today. Hope there is goodness in everyone's day @Phoenix_Rising @CheerBear @Faith-and-Hope @Catcakes @SleepyPanda
Faith and Hope, giant 'single square' granny square blankets are so so comforting and just all around nice to do and use. And so much easier than granny square joining up, which I truly loathe doing, which is why my little granny square adaptations (done in cotton yarn) are always washing up cloths for the sink.
Oooh, CheerBear and Phoenix Rising a trip to the beach, how awesome is that for an adventure for today.
CatCakes, I do hope you're feeling better today.

Thought you might @Phoenix_Rising ☺
It was an epic adventure but a fun one (with the bonus of everyone should sleep well and early now too). I'm so glad I had turtle company and an extra set of eyes to watch them. There's something that works about fish and turtles at the beach 😉
Thanks for coming 😊
