Thank you so much @Faith-and-Hope for that explanation and link. You are very kind.
I had a quick look and will have to find a device to take to my bedroom with me, as I don't have one. But I can listen to some of them while I do other things I suppose, not the same as sleeping to being read to though.
@Phoenix_Rising I do hope you're floating around here just quietly resting and listening to lovely stories being read to you.
Just to show where how my mind isn't working properly - I opened the front door (faces directly west into the afternoon sun) a moment ago for some stupid reason and the brightness of the sun pierced my eye with spears of pain that went right through to the back of my head.
Gosh, I was feeling mostly on the mend until that ... what was I thinking! Either the flatmate gets the bins and the mail later on or it stays there until darktime, that's what I'm sayin' right now anyway.
Waves to @Catcakes, hope your day is going okay now, and to @CheerBear you're sounding bright and chirpy today, so glad you seem to be feeling so much better.
HOpe everyone is having the best day they can ...

Good evening on the ocean,
I don't think I'll be hanging around too much tonight. I'm finding it super hard to stay engaged in Forum Land since I got banned from calling the HC. It is so very VERY hard knowing I'm the only person in Forum Land (and indeed on the entire planet) who isn't allowed to call them. It hurts SO much.
@CheerBear Nope, still didn't find out the end of Room on the Broom. We've definitely solved the puzzle of sleep issues! I think it would be cool to create a thread of our story books. We would need to have a table of contents like the DBT thread so that the actual links didn't get lost throughout the thread.
Speaking of the DBT thread, have you made any progress at all on the DT module? I'm thinking I will try and start the ER module when I'm in the right headspace. That way, if you are too swamped with life, I can just do the ER module until you get de-swamped. Of course right now I'm nowhere near being in the right headspace!!!
I have been following the thread re. employment services. I will add my experiences at some point. It sounds like you are getting a lot of good advice over there.
@Former-Member yep, as @Faith-and-Hope explained, we post youtube links to the stories. This is a self-soothing tool that CheerBear helped me to discover. You know that TTT reads to me at the start of each session don't you? I super love it.
I'm sorry to hear the sun was so super bright for your eyes today. Bins and mail can definitely wait until dark!
Guess what? At my volunteering gig today there was a bag of random balls of yarn. Someone had apparently had a clear out of their cupboard and brought them in. I grabbed two balls to play with.

@CheerBear Thank you for knowing and seeing and hearing. This is so so SO hard CheerBear. Between the wrongness of the wrong and being banned from calling the HC, it is really hard to have any sense of worth.
I would super like to create the story book thread. I will do it in the next few days.
It would definitely be cool if you could do the DT module next...but it's a bazillion percent ok if you can't. From reading over there --> it sounds like you have a whole lot of brain mushing stuff to deal with, with NDIS and CL.
