Maybe see what TTT says about it @Phoenix_Rising ?
Communications skills training might be available as online courses, and TTT might know other avenues, including one day courses.
I am so glad you have TTT.

Stay safe, be well ocean dwellers.

I am just sitting here reflecting a little before I head out of Forum Land for the night. I was reading about the experiences of others in hospital, and they are so far removed from my own experiences, it's bewildering. I know I can't even write about my experiences in detail here (I've done that before and had the post removed because of the risk of it distressing others). I really want to talk about it...I guess one day TTT and I will get around to it.
None of my 40+ hospital admissions have been for more than 72 hours - even after a suicide attempt. I guess it depends entirely on the particular local health district as to what sort of support a person diagnosed with BPD gets (or doesn't get!). I have never received any actual help or support in hospital. It has always been an arse-covering exercise, where I get admitted because no one wants to cop the blame if I suicided. I am really intrigued by the idea that some people actually get help in hospital. Sigh...It is super hard for a wonky little turtle to understand. ![]()
Night Forum Land.

*quietly comes by to leave some apple cake and apple crumble servings, each with a generous dollop of whipped cream, for the ocean dwellers* I know I needed something a bit different after all that Nutella.
