@Phoenix_Rising Thinking of you little turtle
Here's a soft place for you to land today and hide away (I did let CB in - hope that is ok - but no-one else is allowed unless you invite them
)

@CheerBear I am riding a giant wave. I "reached out" and got burnt. You know our conversation about positive reframing? Yeah... ![]()

I do understand the concept of positive reframing and I do think it can be useful in some situations, but seriously, you need to pick your time and place very very carefully!!! I think there needs to be a solid relationship and a solid understanding of the person's story for it to be ok. Trying to positively reframe a situation that you know very little about DOES NOT WORK. That comes across as amazingly trite and invalidating...and this little turtle really really really does not cope with invalidation well.
Today is SO HARD @CheerBear. ![]()

@Former-Member I think I am ready to jump out of your handbag and into @CheerBear's pocket for the night. @CheerBear I am going to snuggle in my shell in your pocket while you are in your blanket in your nest in the secret inner sanctum of the underwater cave all the way at the bottom of the ocean. It is super quiet and peaceful here and we can just be. No one can hurt us here. It is so quiet, and so calm and super snuggly and safe. I super love that @Zoe7 made us such a safe space.
I'm scared about the weekend @CheerBear. It is looming very long and lonely. Maybe I can just sneak in here. I am so super super SUPER glad that we are not-friends @CheerBear.

@CheerBear I would super like to stay with you and all the pocket crew in your handbag all weekend. Except maybe when you are in DBT headquarters. Then I think the pocket crew and I should sit on your desk and supervise. ![]()
Today is SO HARD @CheerBear and the weekend is going to be SO HARD. And quite a few days to come are going to be so so so hard. I am utterly consumed with my own big feelings at the moment, but I know you are struggling too. I am super glad we can sit in our muddles and struggles and puddles together but not.
Good night @CheerBear.
@Former-Member you are watching over the ocean aren't you. My feelings are SO GIANT now. ![]()
