Re: Riding a wave
One of my kids a few years ago sent an underwater postcard back to me when she visited Vanuatu @Former-Member That was pretty cool - I still have it up on my board

Re: Riding a wave
@Phoenix_Rising - I just wanted to let you know that The Little Mermaid is watching over the ocean and riding the waves with the Little Turtle tonight.

Re: Riding a wave
Awwww super big thank you for checking in @Former-Member. I am going to bunker down in the ultra secret cave that @Zoe7 found (after hiring out my regular cave for Friday Feast ).
This week has been a terrible muddle @Former-Member. I got totally blind-sided by a muddle on Wednesday and I have to wait until Tuesday to process it through with M (my psychologist). My brain is in a gigantic tangle...but on the bright side, the tangle is so big, my brain has shut down and I can't actually feel the hurt anymore. Yay for clever brain.
Anyway, I am almost asleep here. Thank you for watching over the ocean tonight.

Re: Riding a wave
Have a lovely rest tonight in the ultra secret cave @Phoenix_Rising!
That does sound rather muddled! Yes - our brains are clever - they know when we can't take anymore stimulation (sensory or emotional). Hoping you are able to gently sort through your muddle with M.
Glad to watch over the ocean for the little turtle!

Re: Riding a wave
Good morning @Phoenix_Rising Did you get the same email today?!
They're "winging" it. This made me laugh a lot 🙂

Re: Riding a wave
I got the same email @CheerBear and that bit super made me laugh too. How super nice of them to clarify the mode of transport that our books are taking.
Our books are currently travelling in a plane together and we laughed together over our emails that travelled in cyberspace together. So...even though we both often feel super alone, we really are together in our muddles. I know that things are super tough for you right now @CheerBear, as they are for me. But right now won't last forever. We can find our way out of our muddles, together but not.
I plan to be in Forum Land a little bit this morning, but then I want to try to stay away again over the weekend. Realistically, "away" tends to mean I will read along but not engage...so I really am here even when I'm not.
I hope you and the LF have fun at your Saturday adventure today and that it can be a nice distraction from all the other muddle in your world for a little tiny time.

Re: Riding a wave
I wonder if they're sitting next to each other? That would be cool! I really like the idea that we can do things together but not. I really am looking forward to this one too.
Things are tough, and I'm hoping we can both find something to distract us from it until we can get to less tough times again.
I hope you enjoy your weekend 🙂

Re: Riding a wave
Sorry @CheerBear I wasn't sure what your conversation was about re: books and emails so I didn't want to jump in the middle of something I didn't know anything about if it was an ongoing discussion
