@ENKELI mm I get that, I mean it doesn't resolve things or change my emotional state - for me it's like, by writing it down my brain doesn't think it has to try to remember it or focus on it any more, cos there's a record of the thought outside my body. Then since I usually jot stuff down in my phone I can pull it out if I wanna share w a friend or with one of my professional supports. That's me though, we all have different stuff that works for us hey.
@Birdofparadise8 yeah good stuff, frustration definitely needs its outlet hey. Hope you get some good sleepies tonight hun 💜

@Jynx I tend to re cook the cabbage, meaning I will go over what I've written until I can actually feel how I felt when the attack/bullying/abuse or whatever happened and it just kind of escalates.
That's what happened today, I read what I had written down previously and instead of feeling relief it took me back to April 25 last year.
I used to love writing and was a prolific writer of poetry, short fiction etc but now I struggle with putting a prosaic sentence together.
Words used to be my best friend, now they're a reminder that antidepressants have dampened my creativity.
Still, it's better than the alternative, apparently.
Signing off, have a lovely evening x

Ah, okay, I'm sorry that doesn't help, but I'm happy to hear you find being on the forums helpful.
I know I find it very helpful, too.
I hope you have a good day today. @ENKELI

Hi @Blackbird11
I'm doing well. I have done an hour of study so far. I've got two more to go, and then I'll see the older person for an hour, come back, and do another hour or two. I'm using the Pomdoro method on the balance app, and I have flow-state music in the background. In about an hour, I've written 1000 words.
It's been a while since we last talked. How are you?
