Re: Not Coping
If she says no I had a thought to ask my psych if he would change our session to later. I'm not sure if he would do that. he doesn't see anyone else for the rest of the day. @Snowie

Re: Not Coping
@Former-Member
Have you been lenient with online mid-sem exams and allowed to change the time to sit it due to having a class and an appointment when it is on?

Re: Not Coping
All you can do @Birdofparadise8 is ask both people involved.
Perhaps one might be able to change the time.
Maybe saying that you have an appointment you cannot change might help.
You can only hope that one of them can change the time for you.
I struggle when my psych goes on leave too. It is hard to deal with.

Re: Not Coping
I hope so @Snowie
It's only for a week, and he has next week off. I was semi-okay with that, but if I had to cancel my appointment on the 17th, I would have to wait until the 24th.
4th - 24th is way too long.

Re: Not Coping
Like even if she says no what do I do about the first class I can't miss that or leave early as it goes for an hour and we are working on our 6500 systematic review. I cannot not be there.
I would also have to go from my class back to my room set up and have lunch in the space of zero minutes. @Snowie
I've heard she is hard with exams. However, she does not have an accessibility plan like I do. It's also a mid sem exam so it's not run by outside the uni staff with the end of sem.

Re: Not Coping
@Former-Member I know that is a long time without seeing your psych. I see mine fortnightly so can understand why you would feel panicky.
So if she says no then it sounds like you are relying on your psych. Perhaps on Wednesday you can ask him. Until then there is not much you are able to do about it. Unfortunately we cannot always control everything, and this is one of the times.

Re: Not Coping
I see mine weekly, so three weeks would be a long time.
Okay she replied didn;t say anything about the class before or my appointment.Considering your EAP plan, your test will be 55mins (instead of the standard 40mins) once you start the time. Your test will be available between 12:30-13:45 on Wednesday 17 April AEST. Once you start the test, you will have 55 minutes to complete.
So it might be doable if I start at 12:40 to 13:35 is 55 min, and if I leave straight after that, it takes about 30-40 min to get to psych, so I could see if he would do 14:30, and if I get there earlier, I do.
I hope he will be okay with this. @Snowie
I replied to the email to ask if she had read the bit about my appointment and class. I'll see if she replies.

Re: Not Coping
It's good that you got an email back from her @Birdofparadise8 At least that is something.
Perhaps with just a little bit of movement from your psych that it is doable for you.
Hopefully things work out and with just a little bit of compromise everything goes to plan.

Re: Not Coping
Yeah, would it be a good idea to email my psych so it's in a formal email and everything so we both have a record @Snowie
He can be forgetful about admin stuff.

Re: Not Coping
The quicker you can work it all out the better @Birdofparadise8 At least then it is another thing you don't need to worry about.
You are right too, at least an email means you can have a record of things.
