Re: Not Coping
We only have an aircon in the kitchen and living area but every time I thought I was falling asleep I just got woken up my wife took the kids to playgroup so I could at least sleep while they were gone for a bit
I actually just want to lay on the cold floor and I have a massive headache

Re: Not Coping
I think that could be hit, heat exhaustion from being the sun yesterday, dehydration and poor sleep (over a long period) has probs caught up with me

Re: Not Coping
Hey, if the floor is nice and cold - get cosy and lay there, but I want you to make sure you have a BIG glass of water beside you too. Because if it's still hot, you need to make sure you're filling up with fluids and keeping yourself well fed so you can feel somewhat human still, while this cold... or whatever it is, does its thing before it can go away!
Maybe you can cool down the home with some aircon in the living area and chill there for a bit too if the cold floor gets uncomfortable..?

Re: Not Coping
OOps, just read this post after responding to the other - glad you're feeling slightly better now - you describing the windows open but no breeze.. I KNOW THAT FEELING - I hate it too, I had to bring the fan into the bedroom last night to have some breeze because it was unbearable..
Perhaps all of the above as you listed has caught up with you and your body now.. especially after starting new work too!
How has that been going for you by the way - I haven't been able to check in - my apologies @ArraDreaming !

Re: Not Coping
How does it feel to be back to study and normalcy after the last few challenging days?
No rush, excited to see what these chemical reactions/digestions look like though..!
