Re: Not Coping
@Birdofparadise8 no it's okay, I need to take my night meds and wait for them to kick in anyway so I'm still around. I thought you might be getting sleepy or running out of things to talk about 😁
If you want to go that's fine, I won't take offence x

Re: Not Coping
@Birdofparadise8 sorry hon, I didn't get notification of your message.
I'm still here, normally I go to bed around 10, 10.30 at the latest.
I hope you get a good rest though, especially with classes tomorrow

Re: Not Coping
All good @ENKELI
It's getting so late, but my meds haven't started to work, so I'm wide awake.
I think I have insomnia. I'm seeing my GP on Thursday about my sleep. My Pdoc said to get a sleep study done.

Re: Not Coping
@Birdofparadise8 that sucks. I know if I leave it too late my meds will take forever to get me to sleep.
It seems your Pdoc wants you to have lots of tests but doesn't appear to have any ideas about helping you get better. Sorry, that's probably a bit rough.
It's all so complicated these days with MI. I thought it was bad enough when I had to go through dramas with finding the right combination for me but I got lucky on the 3rd try. And it was only when I had my little "summer holiday" as we call my hospital visit that they added on another medication which stopped the SI and SH. Partly my fault because I never told my GP or Pdoc about my SH. Since then I've been relatively okay until this past 12 months where everything went to hell in a handbasket.
I think it's also hormonal so I've got another medication I will be taking to help with that.
The pharmacist rubs his hands with glee when he sees me coming in with my list of medications! Lol!
Are you still on weekly pickups?

Re: Not Coping
Yeah, I know lol @ENKELI
He didn't even know why my mood stabilizer went down in my blood. I can imagine that.
Some of the pharmacists like me, but others find me annoying when I get them weekly. It's such a pain.
I was there for nearly an hour last week or the week before.
Oh I also guess he thinks I'm alright. I don't say how bad my sadness is it's hard when I barely no him. My psych send something to him so that was helpful.

Re: Not Coping
@Birdofparadise8 the only way you're going to get to know him is to talk, that's the reason for seeing him.
I guess I'm an open book when it comes to seeing the psych. Although I never admitted to SH so I'm one to talk.
I don't understand why the pharmacist should get annoyed, it's their job to dispense medication!
My pharmacist is great, he always says hi, and asks how I'm going. He also tries to lower the price of my meds for me too.

Re: Not Coping
Yeah, I know, but I've only met him twice. Like we did talk and all that, it's not like he would give me more medication anyway. @ENKELI
With my psych, it's better I've known him a bit longer.
Eh, I know, oh well. I know to go on Monday.

Re: Not Coping
@Birdofparadise8 you probably don't need more medication.
Sorry, I'm confusing PDoc and psych. Sigh I thought they meant the same thing and I realise they don't. No the times I saw a PDoc were less than successful, psychs are much better. I remember the first psych I saw telling me that PDocs are often as nutty as their patients!
I hope you're feeling sleepy. I am going to bed now as I am yawning my head off (definitely have taken tonight's sleepy time meds!) Sorry I can't stay around.
Hit me up tomorrow if you want to chat, I'll be around. Or should I say later today for you lol!
