Hey @tyme
Have you had a job promotion that says community lead and your name is in bright green?
Yes, I am. I met my new psych today he was nice but it was very hard. He kept challenging everything I was saying and he said my old psych and KHL are mollycoddling me.

Yes maybe @outlander
Each time we talked about something that was uncomfortable, I would laugh, and he said why are you doing that? What are you feeling, and where are you feeling it? I didn't like being asked where I felt things because I didn't really know. I still don't know. I just feel sad, angry, upset etc.
Though he said I don't have to feel uncomfortable, I'm like, well, I am, I don't know you, and I'm trying to be vulnerable.
He hit a nerve when he said what if you're not here in a month as we were talking about suicide. That really took me. He said I can't work with dead people, which I know that.

Very much agree with @outlander on this one @Birdofparadise8 - whilst it can be confronting and sometimes very uncomfortable to be challenged, sometimes that is exactly what we need. Ever heard the phrase, "All progress takes place outside of the comfort zone"? Sometimes to do the work, we have to get used to hearing difficult things, and pushing past that discomfort. I hope it ends up being a super helpful and nourishing space for you 😊

Yes, it was very uncomfortable @Jynx @outlander
It will take time to warm up to him as well and get to know his style. It's very different to all three of the psychs I've seen in the past year and a bit.
I don't know why he thinks my regular at KHL and other psych would be mollycoddling me. Do either of you know why that could be?
