Hi @Owlunar znd everyone
I can't remember what I last write. So yesterday I got to the hodpital about 3pm. They sgsin did the usual blood tests for the heart. They then transferred me to short stsy. No dinner no supper nothing. Only water. They kept me comfortable with strong pain meds. No breakfast or lunch today. Not even a damn coffee. And I really needed a coffee.
they finally did the ultrasound which the guy said he did find something but couldn't tell me.
they then said we're transferring me to a private hodpital where my gastroenterologist works.
the doctor said it's prob a stone had gone through a duct of the pancreas.
I'm scared worried. I googled before snd I really shouldn't have.
I'm now comfortable in my own room. No more sharing. And I'll see the specialist in the morning.
by the way I'm at the same private hospital I always go to.

Really pleased to hear @BlueBay that you are being well treated and taken seriously. Also good to hear you are back in familiar surroundings and a private hospital room. Hope your consult with specialist tomorrow goes well and they can finally get on top of your health troubles.
Sending love your way. 💖

Hi @BlueBay
That sounds extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant - certainly not something I would like to have - better the devil we know I think but yes - I had a look on the internet - I have not looked into pancreatic disorders much before this - sounds icky - I am sorry about this
But I am glad you are having this investigated at last - you have been telling your doctor that you are not okay for a long time - and I guess in many cases we do go through this sort of thing from time to time - I did with my back issues way back in the past - but once I saw a surgeon it was taken seriously - so this is happening for you now and we all wish you the best
I am waiting to hear how you are going - and I hope you have a good book to read - that helped me a lot
Best wishes BlueBay

Morning @Shaz51 @Owlunar @Maggie @Faith-and-Hope @MDT @Zoe7 @Emelia8 and others following
update:
scan with a dye this morning
another different scan on Friday
these are to clearly see the gallbladder pancreas etc
strong meds are making me very drowsy
nurses are fantastic here very supportive and caring
I had a little cry last night. Anxiety and fear taking over.
I'm very scared that the results will be bad
but I was reassured by the nurses that my blood test results were all good
