@Sans911 ants don’t like

anything powdery ..... bicarbonate Sosa is the pits for them, and they don’t line talcum powder, or flour at a pinch.  I hope that helps you tonight.

Usually peppermint oil does the trick, but it hasn't fazed them. I was trying to think of other natural things that work, so you jogged my memory.

Orange oil is used in natural pesticides, but orange juice is too sweet - it would attract them.

Garlic spray is another one, but that might evacuate you and the cats as well 😏

Morning @Zoe7. It's 4:30am here, so yeah, pretty early in my part of the world. I didn't sleep well at all, so I didn't need the cats to wake me for their breakfast. I was very paranoid overnight about waking up and being covered in ants. Silly isn't it really how little things can get to us? I'm on my first coffee, and then I'll try for a bit more sleep.

I guess your up getting ready for work. How are you feeling energy wise?

If you don't see this until later in the day, I hope you have a pleasant workday.

Oh that is horrible for you @Sans911 We certainly do take our fears and thoughts into our sleep. I do hope you can get rid of those ants today so you don't have them on your mind again tonight 

I am on holidays now Hon so two weeks off. I am looking forward to the break - certainly glad I am not at work today as I don't think I could have dealt with it very well. I have to pick my sister and mum up from the airport later today and then a longer drive to take my mum home. It is certainly not what I had planned but my dad is taking a couple of the horses to rscing trials so he can't pick them up and my sister's partner will still be at work. Not the ideal start to my holidays but  it is what it is. Tomorrow I have the panel and Wed psych, DBT and pdoc so Thursday will be a jammies day.

Hope you got back to sleep and had no more ant dreams then can tackle today okay Hon.
