hey @Snowie sounds like this week's already been off to a busy start! how are you feeling about your trip?
oh and response to your previous post - totally hear you about oven baking in the heat... makes my house feel like a sauna! what sort of things did you oven cook?
any ideas on what your next tat might be inspired on? do you usually get written tatts or images or a bit of both?
yes! started packing on the weekend, still lots to get done but i am keen!

Looking forward to the trip @rav3n Just trying to get everything in order before we leave.
Trying to work out when S and D are working, who does pick up from school and work. When S has gym, how he gets home. So much happening!
Like cooking lots. Did a pasta and veggie bake, banana bread and home made sausage rolls.
Cooking helps with distraction and keeping me present. I am always trying new recipes. Hubby and kids will try whatever I put in front of them. If they ask me to make it again then I know they like it!!
I normally get a bit of both. Have tattoo dedicated to my Dad, one to Hubby, one to kids, a matching one with D. The next one will be upper thigh. Still deciding what I want.
Glad you've started packing. Always so much to do before hand. I think I'll just get on the plane and collapse!!

Hi @Snowie hon
how are you doing? My memory is bad but I think you leave Thursday? Is that correct? I’m sure you’re super busy still getting everything ready. When do you get back? I wanna be your welcome home party!

@Snowie woah yep that's a lot of planning stuff to organise with your kids!! the week of travel tends to have that chaotic energy haha hopefully it cools down soon.
ooo those sound delicious!! are you meal prepping for S & D before you leave? or do they cook too?
aww matching tatt with D is so cute, love that!!
how's today going for you? guessing the pre-travel stress is still buzzing, hoping you got a chance to sit and enjoy some coffee!!

Hey @Bow
Finally got some time just to sit. Today's been busy.
Had gp this morning (got flu and covid shot). Told her about a few things. Some what supportive. Then had to take Mum to gp (not the same one). Went and got her ECG done.
Chemist, supermarket with her. Got to hairdressers, pick S up from school, took him to work, got tea done. Woah.
And tomorrow it starts all over again with ECT in the morning.
Yes we leave Thursday but not to night time. Plane leaves about midnight so hoping I can take my meds and sleep. We come back Tuesday 18th Feb.
Still lots to do between now and when we board.
Between school, work for both, gym for both, pick up's and drop off's, I think it is all organised. Have it all planned out and stuck on the fridge!!
Thankfully D and her boyfriend can drive S around.
How are you?

Hi @rav3n just sat down now.
Been busy today. Few appointments happening.
I think I'll be relieved to get on the plane and relax!! Hoping a late night flight and meds will help me sleep. Not that I like flying that much. How are you with flying?
Done a lot of meal prepping for the kids. Have multiples of 7 different meals all in individual containers in the freezer ready to be heated up. They can cook but I thought this might be easier for them. Also will stop them from getting take out too.
Are you getting excited for your holiday?

Got a few things to do after ECT @Bow Hubby has to go pick up some things for work, chemist and then home.
Hoping I can sleep on the plane. First flight is about 9 1/2 hours.
Oh hon you're not bringing me down. Just reading your other posts. Am here if you need.

@Snowie same here, getting all my last min appointments and prep done!
oh that's good that you're flying at night, fingers crossed you sleep through the flight! how long's your flight? i don't mind flying, used to hate it because my ears would always hurt so much but it recently stopped. i do get VERY bored and struggle to sleep. plus our flight is in the morning so i reckon i'll be wide awake, packed some books to keep me entertained though!
wow you're amazing!!! S & D are super lucky to have all that prepped for them 😊
yes! excited and bit nervous. feels like there's so many places to visit and see.. not sure i'll have the energy to do it all. but reminding myself that it's not a big deal and i can come back another time to see the places i missed. how about you? it's colder in Japan right, do you prefer the wintery weather?

@rav3n Our first flight is 9 hours from here to Hong Kong and then another 4 1/2 hours from there to Japan.
Have downloaded some movies onto my phone and have my e reader with books on there.
Hopefully I will have enough to distract me.
We have 3 days on Tokyo but the rest of the time we will be at the snow skiing. Looking forward to that. Will be very cold there.
Haha, I will be rugged up to stay warm and you will be trying to cool down!!!
