Well @Eve7 it's better than nothing. You achieved somethings, be proud of that.
Day ok. Mum had an argument with my brother so of course it was taken out on me.
Got to the orthodontist and cooked tea. Done for the day. Lots happening in the background.
What's for tea at your house?

Sorry about your Mum taking her anger out on you @Snowie
I’m having Lean Cuisine for the next 2 days, nice and easy!
The anaesthetist rang me today, a nice Scottish lady. She’s going to do a spinal anaesthetic and I said I didn’t really want that but she reckons I’ll be grateful afterwards and said I’ll still be asleep for the surgery. Oh well I hope she’s right.
I can take my anti d meds on the morning of surgery at 5am so hopefully they help.

Lean Cuisine sounds like a good idea @Eve7
Nice, quick and easy. Have you got some of their meals for after the op?
I wouldn't want to be awake for it either. Well hopefully she knows what she is talking about. Do you have to be in there nice and early?
She's always been one to take her emotions out on others, however since her Alzheimer's Diagnosis she has defiantly gotten worse.
Can only pretend for so long and then you crash.

So much easier when you can just put it in the microwave and it's all done @Eve7
Especially since you probably won't be on your feet much the first few days/week.
I've just numbed myself, I can't deal with all the thoughts and emotions in my head/body.

Just a minuscule blob in this world.
They don't want to know how you are going. Just words said at the start of a conversation.
Imagine if you were truthful? Imagine if they actually cared?
Only useful when they need you. Insignificant all other times.
Just ranting

hi there @Snowie how was the SIL surprise party and H's birthday? hoping tonight is a chill night to make up for the social weekend?
i noticed your rant - seems like that mask is getting heavier to wear. did you want to talk about it? if not, even can talk about something else?

SIL's party went ok @rav3n. Urgh, small talk. Left early since D had work the next morning. Good excuse to leave.
H's birthday went fine. Very low key. Just had tea with the kids and mum.
Prn helped. Too much but don't care.
Not much point in going on about all the crap happening, can't change it.
Have to either deal with it somehow or give in to it.
Thanks @Eve7 💕💕

eeek yep, not a fan of small talk either @Snowie glad you got through it!!!
oh gosh, it seems like the last few days have really taken a toll on you, it really sucks that you've had to pretend to be okay. have you been able to talk to anyone about those feelings recently? it's true that certain things may not be in our control to change, but if talking about it helps lift even 1% of the burden, it's worth it. and you 100% deserve to be heard.
how's your night going, have you had dinner yet?
