Yeah she goes by herself @tyme spends some good quality time with my brother while he is sick. She is away for 3 weeks this time… usually only goes for 2. Hoping to bring my brother back with her if he gets the clear from his oncologist.
I haven’t done too much today. Feeling a bit lazy about it. Went to shops briefly for a couple of things. Case manager did a home visit and then pretty much lay in bed all afternoon planning how I’ll paint up a display cabinet I picked up for free on marketplace.
nursing a sore shoulder
how are you? I’ve been reading that you’re pretty miserable and sick? That sucks
yesterday
Oh yes! That's right. Your brother is unwell! I hope he will be able to come and see you. Don't you have another brother too? I remember you saying that one is stingy and instead of him coming to see you, he expects you all to go to him. Or is it the same bro? @Bow
I'm glad you mum can go and see him. Must be hard.
I'm not feeling the best at the moment but I'm not bad, considering. I'm not miserable, but just a bit sore.
I'm supposed to go to a weeding tomorrow. Don't know how I will manage if I go. It will be hot and I won't be able to wear wedding appropriate clothes due to not being able to have anything touch my skin!
I'll let you know if I go. And if I do, I'm sterring well clear of any photos!
Did you have an accident that you have a sore shoulder? I'm glad your case manager visited you. Do they generally do visits on sundays?

Yeah hopefully my bro can come up here @tyme it’s so much easier for him to come to us than for all of us to go to him- he doesn’t understand that though. Like for him to come it’s just him. He stays here. Simple. For us, it’s 2x flights… or for my younger from 3 flights. Then car hire cause my bro down there doesn’t drive. Accommodate too cause his in a tiny one bedroom flat. Plus we all have responsibilities up here. He doesn’t work etc.
anyways. Yeah I have a younger brother up here too. His got a partner and nearly 3yr old and one on the way. And yeah… we only really see them if we organise something.
oh that’s ashame if you miss the wedding. I’m sure they will understand though. Shingles are so painful!
my shoulder- no accident. I’m pretty sure I did some damage pulling suitcases up 2 flights of stairs in Paris or on the train… something with the suitcases. It was always left to me to lift them etc. and that’s kinda when it started. Just noticed it being a bit sore around that time. And then made it worse last weekend at market. I really should go to the doctor but been putting that off.
yeah my CM often visits on weekends. She only works Wednesday-Friday and then the odd weekend, so is busy.

Do you think he was unwell and that's why he couldn't come and visit you? I mean your bro in tassie? Yeah, it certainly sounds like it's a lot easier for him than you all. Were you all from tassie before? Or did he just go there? @Bow
I'm sorry to hear your brother has cancer. Sounds stressful for you all.
Oh no re your shoulder! Hope it's okay. I knew someone who was a teacher and she was holding onto this door handle when a kid pushed it shut. She tore something in her shoulder and it damaged it permanently. She's never regained feeling in it. Poor thing. It was the beginning of her career. That was about 15 years ago.
Hope you can get your shoulder seen to soon.
Also, I hope that your CM visit today was okay.

Nah @tyme his got a few disabilities and that’s just how he thinks. His a lot to be around.
yep, grew up in tassie. Born in Hobart and grew up on the north west coast. Moved up here in 2003 when I mum remarried. He stayed behind cause he was settled there with my dad. I didn’t have anything keeping me in Tas.
my bro has had a lot of health conditions. He had brain cancer when he was younger. Born with a hole in his heart and facial palsy. And now this. But he takes it all in his stride. He has a strong faith.
hoping my shoulder ain’t nothing too bad. But is definitely is worse this past week. And it is hard to rest it cause I’m the one that does all the lifting around the house. The lawns badly need doing too! Oh my gosh the back ones…. May be knee high! 🫣😂 darn water tanks that leak and make the grass grow so quick. Urgh just need to make that appointment and put my big girl pants on.! I haven’t been since beginning of December… I usually go at least monthly.
yesterday
Sounds ouch. So you have to do the lawns even with your sore shoulder? Then again, lawns don't mow themselves... seriously, with all these tech advances, you'd like they'd create lawns that mow themselves - that isn't synthetic grass. @Bow
Did you know there is an automatic poop collector? I heard it isn't that good though. It's along the same lines as a robo vac.
Which reminds me, I still need to buy a new pool vacuum. Argh.. so much to do. @Bow
Sounds like your bro has had his fair share for health challenges... arghhh.
Do you like Tassie? In terms of living there? I'm guessing it's quite slow?
