Re: My Mosaic

That’s good your mum doesn’t have an infection @Snowie  mmanaging her meds sounds like it could be a tricky job though, especially when she forgets when she has taken them.

Oh boy, 2 calls checking where you are though! That would be frustrating.

weather wasn’t too bad here today… mostly cool but it has warmed up a bit this arvo. Hopefully it doesn’t get too hot tomorrow for market.

I’ve watched so much tv the last couple of week.

wasn’t overly helpful… but wasn’t unhelpful either. I did assert my annoyance with the worker calling my mum earlier in the week. My CM agreed with me that it shouldn’t have happened and had already spoken with the worker. And she was going to have a look to see what she could do on my file to make note of it. So I guess that was good.

Yep D is coming to market. She will sit on my iPad the whole time and eat and complain about being hungry! Don’t know where she puts it! 🤷🏼‍♀️  she just ate 4 pieces of pizza for dinner and guarantee she will be hungry in 1/2hr.

I took some painkillers a little while ago and that has helped with my headache and then my nausea.

about to go let the kitties out for their evening play. They are so cute… funny. I have them in a pet playpen, I unzip the door and they come running out and straight into my room… stretching out on the way.

Re: My Mosaic

She has webster packs for her normal meds @Bow but just worried about the extra ones.

I think she forgot I went to the supermarket for her. I feel like I can't go anywhere without taking her anymore. Can't have my own life.

Hopefully the CM can work out the issues and they don't contact your mum again. That must be really frustrating when it happens.

I don't know where my kids put all their food too. They are like eating machines!!

I hope the kittens have fun! They sound like they bring so much joy to you.

Re: My Mosaic

Hi dear @Bow

Sorry to hear the market yesterday wasn't the best. Hard when you out in all the work, set up and then not many people there. Hopefully the next market goes better.

Also saw that your SW and CM are away this week. Must make it difficult when they are away at the same time.

Up to much today?

Sending some 💗💗

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Snowie

yeah it’s always disappointing about slow markets. Oh well. This Saturdays country market will be better… or should be. It’s nearly always really busy.

My SW is just away on Wednesday. She called today and we chatted about a few things, she asked heaps of questions. She likes to understand what I struggle with better. She also told me that the SW that was going to come with me to my new pdoc appointment on Wednesday has training 😩 and cause I prefer female workers there is possible only one other casual worker who I’ve met but never really spoken to much. This stresses me out. New male pdoc 😩 and going in with not much support.

haven’t really been up to much today. Did the groceries this morning. Fixed up the kittens… still weighing them every day, giving them medication, cleaning out the playpen- they make so much mess. I’d love to get an enclosed litter tray! See if that stops them flinging it everywhere! Went on the treadmill for a bit, and then let the kittens out for a play and now just about finished sorting through my market stock. I need a better system. At the moment I sit down and pull each frame out and write it down. Making a list of everything I got. Packing a couple of boxes market and then a third box of doubles and extra stock. Made a list of a few that I would like to get made. Want to do some special Mother’s Day ones. Hot here again, so doing all that in front of the ac.

How are you? How was your day?

Re: My Mosaic

That must be hard @Bow that you haven't got your support for when you see the pdoc.

I was very hesitant about having a male pdoc, but for me it actually worked out well. Hopefully it does for you too.

It does sound like you SW is very invested hon, wanting to know a lot about what is happening with you. Maybe all those questions is a good thing.

Sounds like you day has been busy.

Took mum up street, spoke to pdoc over phone and vacuumed/cleaned half the house. Will do the rest tomorrow. Needed to stay busy today or too much happens in my head.

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah I appreciate that she wants to understand more @Snowie  we talked alot about my fluid intake today, she wanted to understand why that is often such a struggle for me. Some days are easier…. Today hasn’t been one of them and I am feeling it this arvo.

yeah I’m anxious about no support on Wednesday. I really hope someone from comm mh has at least had a bit of a chat with this new pdoc and given him a bit of a handover. I really don’t wanna have to say it all. I don’t know if I’ll even be able to.

Sounds like you had a bit of a productive day today too. Know what it’s like when we need to keep busy. and you have things to do tomorrow too!

I was going to have a day at home tomorrow, but have to take mum to the doctor. She has Crohn’s disease and it’s been really bad lately. She’s scared to go out incase she desperately needs a loo. We had a few issues when overseas and she is going down to my brother in tassie in a few weeks so hopefully something can be sorted to help her.

depending on my brothers ctscan results while she is down there, my brother might come back with her for a couple of weeks. They were looking at things to possibly do in Melbourne for a day and I suggested the legoland that is there…. But nope. Adults can’t just go there. You have to have a kid with you!! How utterly stupid! I’ll have to get down there before D is too old! Did you @tyme @Jynx  know this??

Re: My Mosaic

Hopefully they have done a handover @Bow

Could you write things down to give to him in case they haven't? Even just the main points so you don't have to start the session with your life story.

Keeping busy has helped today, so hopefully it can tomorrow too.

That is stupid about Legoland. Anyone should be able to go regardless of their age.

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah maybe I’ll make a list for my new pdoc @Snowie @just write everything down

Re: My Mosaic

I find having a list helps @Bow especially if I can't say things out loud, then I can just give it to my psych.
