hey @TinTin1 sorry to hear you've been feeling really low recently. what you've mentioned about sleeping more and the messy unit reminds me a lot of when i've felt really low and depressed. has there been a recent change or situation that's occurred to bring about these low feelings?
it can sometimes feel overwhelming knowing that the mess is piling up and that you're too exhausted throughout the day - just know that you're not alone in these feelings, and these feelings don't last forever. for me, getting as much sun/outdoor time as i can during the day time helps me stay more energised/awake. if i do nap during the day, i try keep it to 30-90mins max so I can still sleep at night. in terms of cleaning, this one usually was the harder part - if i can get help, i ask my friends/family to assist with the clean up but if they're not available, i like to put on a movie or tv show (almost like its keeping me company and motivating me to clean) while i start the clean up. i make little goals like 'cleaning my desk' first and then the next day 'fixing up my wardrobe', etc. i know that when we have those low, heavy feelings, its so hard to do little tasks so please do be kind to yourself and take things slowly, step by step. celebrate each little win - finished cleaning your room? treat yourself with a lil snack or whatever you enjoy. and importantly, please reach out to your supports - whether that's a friend, family member, therapist, Lifeline (13 11 14), Suicide callback service (1300 659 467), etc. you don't have to go through this alone. here for you 💗

business administration sounds like an interesting course, how are you finding the course? @TinTin1
that's great that you're interested in getting an office job too, how do you feel about balancing study and work?
i hear you about your unit, i find that opening windows, letting in sunshine and doing a lil clean up where i can helps with making my space feel less cramped. are you thinking of moving into a bigger unit?

Hey @TinTin1, sorry you're feeling this way. When I've been feeling very down, quite a few people have told me to think about the things I am grateful for, possibly writing them down, even if they are small things. Maybe this will help you to feel a little more positive. Other than that, I think just to talk to someone about how you're feeling. Maybe just talking to someone, you may discover some of the main reasons you are feeling so miserable. We're always here if you need any support TinTin.
